Christianity Explored

What is the meaning of life? Is there a God who is there? What is he like? What’s all the fuss about Jesus? What about other religions?

Our Exploring Christianity course is aimed at those asking these or similar questions. Whether you’ve never set foot in a church before, or been going to church all your life, the course provides an excellent opportunity to look more closely at these issues.

We run one three-session course each term. They are intended to be a relaxed, unpressured and informative time. Come along to one session and there’s no pressure to come back.

Church Family Lunch

On the last Sunday of each month we hold a ‘bring and share’ lunch straight after the 10.30am morning service. This is a great opportunity to get to know members of the church family better as we chat together and catch up over food.

Men's Breakfasts

The men of St Luke’s meet termly from 9.30-11am for Breakfast and a seminar style Bible talk with group discussion.

Summer Camps

Each Summer a number of our church family go on a Summer Camp for a week. It’s a great chance to teach 11-18 year olds about Jesus and to help them learn how to live as Christians. Most of us go on either Woolhampton 1 or B3 @ Brymore.

UNITE

This group seeks to gather young people in north London to be united in Jesus. We do this by looking at the Bible to see what it tells us about God, his world and us. We also sing, pray and play some bonkers games together. UNITE is run by local north London youth groups.

Womens' Book Group

Each term the women of St Luke’s read a Christian book and then meet together to discuss it. It’s a great chance to learn more about who God is, how his word applies to different areas of life and to encourage one another as we share thoughts and insights from the book.

Womens' Breakfasts

Each term we hold a Saturday morning Breakfast for ladies from 9.30-11am.

We Breakfast for half an hour together and then look at what the Bible has to say about different aspects of life. Previous topics have included Identity, Busyness, Emotions, Friendship and Evangelism.
